What is VIPS? It's Volunteers in Public Schools. All OVHS parents are invited and encouraged to participate in our VIPS program. Our volunteers have the opportunity to learn more about the programs and activities at Ocean View. Some volunteers have chosen to update job skills or explore new careers as a result of their volunteer work. What Can I Do? Join a booster group. Become a business partner. Chaperone a school event. Be a guest speaker. Assemble school mailings. Donate services or materials. We will find the right task for you! How Do I Get Started? You may volunteer on a regular basis or perform occasional tasks at home or school. All volunteers work under the direction of a staff member, and training is provided where needed. Please consider serving your child's school by joining VIPS. You'll be glad you did! Simply fill out the Volunteer Application form and return it to Nancy Steiner.
