| Head Varsity Baseball Coach at OVHS from 1986-2003. Compiled an overall record of 244-170-3. Won 3 league titles and a CIF Championship in 1998. Twice voted to the OC All Star game during his tenure. Designed and constructed one of the finest baseball facilities in Orange County. Also coached Football at OVHS for 4 seasons. Currently serves as the clock operator at all OV home football games, a position he has held for 26 years. |

| Received a Teacher of the Year award from the district in 1994 while teaching Science at Marina High School. Twice voted to the OC High School All Star Game. Considered to be an expert teacher in dealing with difficult students, receiving numerous summer and home teaching assignments for those with learning and behavioral difficulties. Voted La Mirada High School "Athlete of The Year" in 1978. Played in 2 Division 3 College World Series as a shortstop at Stanislaus St. University. Voted into La Mirada Highs "Hall Of Fame" as well as the HB Daily Pilot "Hall of Fame" along with Howard Isom in 1989. |

| I wanted to be just like my high school baseball coach. He was such a great role model and great human being who always gave of himself, asking for nothing in return. |
