| Why did you become a teacher? |
| I enjoy working with kids and teaching literature. I hope that I will positively impact kids' lives in a way that helps them shape their own bright futures! |

| Substitute teaching 4 years; Regular assignment for 11 years: 3 years with Long Beach and 9 years in HB. |

| Outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and snowboarding. Obviously, I love reading and discussing literature...expecially examining the way in which an author seeks to communicate and connect with his/her audience. I like crafts, and cooking, and eating! |

| The birth of my child! Climbing Mt. Whitney, twice-once in a blizzard! Climbing Half-Dome in Yosemite. Backpacking across Europe twice and trekking in the Alps from Italy to Switzerland! |
